Indore is the economic and commercial centre of the Malwa region and the central Indian state of Madhaya Pardaesh. The city has emerged as the fountainhead of a new educational movement, which has been responsible for spreading value based education in the state. But there was lack of Muslim Minority professional Institutions. In the year 1997, Al-Farooq Education Society came in to existence with the prime objectives of creating educational institutions, unique in their ability to put education on a higher plane and to provide professional education to the minority community. Al-Farooq Unani Tibbiya College is the first step of this journey.
